Foam Day a Huge Success!

The Second Annual Lehi Foam Day was a great success.  The crowd started out light at 11 am, but by the time the foam was ready at 2 pm, the park was packed.  Tons of eager kids waiting to pounce into the foam.

The CERT team manned the First-Aid/Lost & Found tent.  Incidents were very few until this crowd started to gather before 2 pm.  Four of us helped keep the mobs of kids at bay until the Fire Dept. said go.  But once the stampede started, there was very little we could do to manage the crowd. So we focussed on keeping the older kids out of the younger area, and watching for safety problems.  Then the First-Aid/Lost & Found tent really started hoppin' with minor injuries and separated children.  Total we logged 48 separated children and helped 34 others with various first-aid needs.  Much, much more than we anticipated.  Next year we will need separate and bigger tents, and many more CERT members.

Thanks to those who helped out this year. You guys did an awesome job.
